BOARD MEETING MINUTES
May 14, 2009

Meeting called to order at 7:00. P.M. by Supervisor Wass.

Present Tom Wass, Ken Messer, Mike Cederholm , Evelyn Wilson and Greg Wisner absent.

Guests 8 including Anthony Groves from Progressive Architecture Engineering.

Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Harbor Committee. Supervisor Wass started routine business with Mr. Groves and the Harbor Committee as he has to travel a long way Home. Mr. Groves gave the board the a list of Arcadia Lake Herbicide bidders to treat Arcadia Lake with Aquatic Herbicides and a list of Mechanical Harvesting Contractors to harvest the dead plants. Motion-by Ken Messer to hire Professional Lake Management to treat and harvest the plants-supported by Mike Cederholm-AIF-Passed. Mr. Groves gave Supervisor Wass a contract to sign for his professional services which was agreed upon by Lawyer Rolfe. Motion by Ken Messer for the board to approve contract as written-supported by Mike Cederholm-AIF-Passed. Supervisor Wass attended a Coalition Meeting which covers Harbors. Arcadia 's Harbor will be dredged the end of May but next year is unknown.

Routine Business:

Motion to approve Board Meeting Minutes of April 9, 2009 by Ken Messer supported by Mike Cederholm-AIF-Passed and Special Meeting Minutes of May 2, 2009-by

Motion to approve Treasures report by Mike Cederholm supported by Evelyn

Wilson-AIF-Passed.

Motion to Approve the Listing of the Bills by Ken Messer supported by Mike Cederholm-AIF-Passed.

Motion to approve Committee/Commission minutes or reports

Correspondence-discuss and act on as appropriate

Fire Department: Fire Chief Wes Hull reported 4 med runs last month. There will be a mock disaster demonstration at Camp Arcadia at 1:00 p.m. Saturday. New truck coming in June.

Planning Commission: Tom Wass reported that the commission is reviewing the Master Plan. Arcadia Highlands have asked for a private road.

Historical Commission: None.

Harbor Committee:

Parks and Recreation:None

Cemetery Committee: Wilson asked again to have dead limb removed from tree in Cemetery. Asked the Groundskeeper to take down but did not. Tom Wass will check it out.

Grants Committee: None.

Public Comment: John Steben and George Bell asked if the Phargmites are going to be treated. Mr. groves said they will treat them if there is any money left over. Ken Hillard discussed the ATV Ord. which should be ready in July.

Old Business: Tom Wass asked Ken Messer to write something up regarding repairing sidewalks.
